With a Waldameer picnic, a private grove is yours for the entire day and is FREE with a qualifying ride program. Our beautifully landscaped groves include covered pavilions with FREE water, cooking areas, electric and lighting. A private PA system is available at your request. PLUS Waldameer will print FREE customized picnic information flyers for your use!
Group Rate Qualifications with a Grove: Must purchase 15 or more Combo Passes and make advance reservations with deposit at least one (1) week in advance of your picnic date. Your Combo Pass includes unlimited use of our rides and slides. (Rides and slides have height restrictions as mandated by Pennsylvania Law for the safety of our guests and are enforced. Handheld infants are only permitted on L. Ruth Express Train and Carousel Chariot and ride free with a paying parent or guardian.) Prices are quoted on your estimated attendance. You will be charged based on actual number of passes purchased. Small Groups without Grove (family reunions/outings, Scouts, Church groups, etc.): must make reservations at least one (1) week in advance & a non-refundable pre-payment of $100.00, which will be credited towards the purchase of your Combo Passes (15 or more). Group Rate Hours for Water World on Weekends starting June 19th are 1:00 -7:00 PM. If you desire to enter Water World at 11:00 AM your entire group must have printed tickets that cost $1.00 above your Combo Pass Rate. Weekends before June 19th no $1 fee will be charged. |
Catering
Waldameer has an experienced food service staff to cater your picnic with delicious, fresh dishes prepared in our on premise kitchen facilities. Food and refreshments are served right in your grove. You may return as many times as you wish on most of our menus. A minimum of 50 adult meals is required. Food is not permitted to be taken from the groves. You may handle your own food and refreshments - sorry no outside caterers, distributors, or glass containers for refreshments are permitted.
Youth & Recreation Special - $14.50 per person!
Summer Recreation, Youth and Day Camp programs receive unlimited use of our slides from 11am - 5pm and rides from 1pm - 5pm plus get a FREE picnic shelter reserved for your group (offer valid any Tuesday thru Friday). We are a clean, safe, friendly Park that’s just the right size for your kids. Featuring over 75 rides, slides & attractions... Wet, Wild & Wonderful! School & Class Picnics - $13.00 per person!
Schools receive our best discounts! A FREE picnic shelter will be reserved with your ride program if desired. All School Combo Passes must be sold in advance. We also have a reasonably priced “School Lunch Special” for only $4.00 comprised of a hot dog, potato chips and a soft drink. Your family and friends may use school picnic passes on any day we are open during May, June and August 24th thru Labor Day 2010. Consignment Info
Waldameer’s consignment program is available for profit and non-profit organizations for the 2010 season. This program is designed as a benefit, providing your employees/members with substantial savings. The consignment Combo Pass is the only pre-sold pass good any day the Park is open. No minimum sale is required. Final balance is based on number of passes issued minus number returned. Consignment program participants are responsible for all money collected and ensure payment for all passes not returned to Waldameer.
