There are plenty of new things for 2012 at Waldameer! Children will swing to their hearts content on Kiddieland's newest addition, the Happy Swing! This colorful swinger rocks back and forth by the Ravine Flyer 3 putting smiles on every face!
Visit our 2011 addition, the North End. Packed with three great family rides and beautiful landscaping, it is an area the whole family can enjoy!
Also for 2012, three of our most favorite rides are getting updates to let you and your family ride even more!
- Come see our brand new second train on the L. Ruth Express! This all blue train will operate on busy days so you can spend more time riding and less time waiting in line.
- Our “Ace Coaster Classic”, the Comet, will be updated with a brand new braking system allowing both coaster trains to operate at once!
- And don’t forget the world famous dark ride, the Whacky Shack. We’ve redesigned the loading platform to get you riding and laughing even faster!
One of Waldameer’s biggest changes for the 2012 season is that the park is going cashless! That’s right, no more worrying about losing your money while you spin, swirl and twirl on all of our rides. All of Waldameer’s Ticket Booths will still be able to take all forms of payments, but once inside the park, only Wally Cards, Gift Cards and Credit/Debit cards will be accepted. To make it easier, you can visit one our eight new Wally Card Kiosks to buy or recharge your Wally Card to spend throughout the park.
